In case any Councilors are interested, here is the latest list of subscribers to the Cross Community WG discussing Recommendation 6 of the new gTLD process mailing list (Rec6 CDG-WG) ( MAPO). A good percentage of these participated in a teleconference call that just ended a little while ago in which rough good agreement on edits to the draft ToR seemed to be reached. Once a revised redline of the ToR is ready, I will forward it to the Council list. Hello Chuck That is a big list of subscribers. At least many of them were involved in the new gTLD committee discussions when the original recommendation was crafted. Another key element of such a group should be the relevant ICANN legal staff (e.g John Jeffrey and Dan Halloran) that provided advice to the GNSO on the terminology in recommendation 6, and also received external legal advice on the implementability of the recommendation.
