COUNCIL DISCUSSION – Activities of the CCWG-Accountability Independent Review Process Implementation Oversight Team (15 minutes) On 28 February 2017, the Independent Review Process Implementation Oversight Team (IRP IOT) of the ongoing CCWG-Accountability informed all ICANN Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees (SO/ACs) that SO/ACs will shortly be expected to work with ICANN to establish a Standing Panel for future IRPs brought under the revised ICANN Bylaws (https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/council/2017-March/019790.html) This is a four-step process that needs to be completed in order for the newly-constituted IRP under the revised ICANN Bylaws to be used.
