Dear Steve,

At our teleconference meeting on 14 February 2012, the ccNSO Council adopted a letter to be sent to the ICANN Board to express our continued support for the introduction of Single Character IDN TLD’s and to seek clarification on some aspects of the ICANN Board resolution of August 2011 relating to this topic.

At its teleconference meeting on 16 February, the GNSO Council also approved the letter.

Therefore, please find attached a joint letter from both the ccNSO and the GNSO Councils. We would be grateful to receive a response from the ICANN Board in due course.
