Dear Councilors, A discussion and vote on the Approval Action is scheduled for the next GNSO Council meeting on 19 December. If more time is needed a placeholder for an email vote will be scheduled to end on Monday, 23 December. The GNSO Council email ballot on the motion regarding Empowered Community Approval Action on Fundamental Bylaws Amendments to Article 4 Accountability and Review, 4.2 Reconsideration, will be launched, but only if needed, on 20 December. The ballot includes a text box for you to state your reason(s) if you wish, should you decide to abstain from voting on either motion. * The voting threshold required for the motion to pass successfully is a GNSO Supermajority as defined in Article 11.3-(xix) of the ICANN Bylaws. * In accordance with the rules for a vote outside a Council meeting, this ballot will be an open vote (i.e. not secret) and we will record and publish the outcomes as required by the GNSO Operating Procedures.
