RE: Request for volunteers re. response to the ccNSO-GAC Issues Report on IDN Policy Issues
If I have kept track accurately, the following people have volunteered to join me in being a part of a small group tasked with preparing a draft response to the "ccNSO-GAC Issues Report on IDN Policy Issues (http://www.icann.org/announcements/announcement-2-09jul07.htm)" for consideration by the full Council: Bilal Beirm (BC) Mark McFadden (ISCPC) Sophia Bekele (NomCom appointee). If I missed anyone or if there are any other volunteers, please let me know ASAP because I am getting ready to start work on this. I believe four people is a good number for this task, but others are welcome. It is not necessary to have every constituency represented, but we do want to provide the opportunity for every constituency to have someone on this group if desired. Also, if any of the NomCom Council reps or liaisons want to participate, they would be welcome. Philip stated that he would provide a name from the BC. Our objective will be to produce a first cut at answers to the ccNSO/GAC questions and we will try to do this during the next couple weeks. That is the Domain Tasting Group ad-hoc group. There are so many things on the GNSO's plate at the moment, that it is good there are many volunteers. a.
