The goal is to develop a framework for implementation of ATRT3 Recommendation 3.6. The feedback from SO/AC Chairs is expected by 30 November. REMINDER: Retirement of Non-Policy Recommendations ICANN org shared a document named "Draft Process to Retire Non-Policy Recommendations" with SO/AC Chairs and expects their feedback by 30 November. The process pertains exclusively to non-policy recommendations that emerge from Reviews and Cross-Community Working Groups, aligning with the objective of the implementation of ATRT3 Recommendation 5. Action Items NEW: ICANN80 Fellowship Application Round Now Open The ICANN80 meeting is scheduled for 10–13 June 2024 in Kigali, Rwanda. A nomination period will be open from 13 November 2023 through 8 January 2024. ICANN is convening a community selection panel that will review the nominations and select the award recipient(s). Appointees are expected to be identified by the end of November 2023, with a view toward an initial meeting in December 2023. Please share your interest in participation with your structure’s leadership. The CIP-CCG will be responsible for helping to design and implement a Continuous Improvement Program. This is a great opportunity to take a leadership role in designing a program which will have lasting impact on the effectiveness and accountability of your community structure. In this work, the Community Coordination Group will be responsible for: 1. Developing a shared understanding of the meaning of Continuous Improvement in the context of ATRT3 Recommendation 3.6, calling for Organizational Reviews to be evolved into a Continuous Improvement Program (CIP), 2. Considering a range of methodologies for effective continuous improvement programs, 3. Agreeing on the methodology that is fit for ICANN purpose, and 4. Formulating a CIP Framework, to be used by each SO, AC and NomCom.
