Dear Councilors, On behalf of Kathy Kleiman, Philip Corwin and J. Scott Evans (co-chairs of the RPM Review PDP Working Group), staff would like to inform you that, following consultation with and a straw poll of the Working Group members, the co-chairs believe that it will not be necessary for this Working Group to hold a half or full day face-to-face meeting on Day One of the ICANN57 Public Meeting. The co-chairs believe that a more appropriate time for the Working Group to hold such a session is likely to be either at ICANN58 or ICANN59, and request that the GNSO Council take this feedback into consideration when deliberating whether, when and which group is to conduct face-to-face sessions at these upcoming meetings. Please let me know if you have follow up questions for the co-chairs or the Working Group. For clarification, please note that the Working Group nevertheless plans to hold its “regular” open community session during the course of the ICANN57 meeting, as is the norm for all GNSO Working Groups. In addition, the co-chairs will be pleased to provide the Council with updates on the group’s progress either at ICANN57 or at the Council’s request.
