Hello Marc,
This message is to offer my resignation from the GNSO-council as representative of the NCUC effective immediately. For personal reasons I have been unable to participate in meetings and teleconferences since April of this year. I do not expect things to improve very soon. It seems better to let someone else take over now and not wait until my term expires in Autumn.
I am sorry to see you go, but understand that the GNSO Council is a significant commitment. Thanks for all your work on the Council so far, and best of luck with your future activities. Regards, Bruce Tonkin\
Dear Marc, I join with others in thanking you and in wishing you well, and hope to "see you on the net" as we go forward. Thanks for your work on WHOIS and on the Council. It has been a pleasure to meet you and work with you--sometimes in agreement, and sometimes in disagreement - but always with mutual respect.
