Conflict of interest declaration with respect to vote on .net criteria
Hello All, I wish to advise that: - I am an employee of Melbourne IT - Melbourne IT is a 10% shareholder in Neulevel - Neulevel may apply to be the successor registry operator for .net As a result of the potential conflict of interest, I will not vote on the resolution relating to .net. For item 3 of the agenda, I appoint either Ross Rader or Tom Keller as my proxy to vote for me as they see fit on this issue. Hi all, I would have done over the phone but this will save us time. I will also abstain in the vote regarding ñnet criteria. It is not because any of my employers, or those other entitites where I serve as Director or advisor would participate (I am sure they will not). But I have been approcahed by another entity that could participate, and I could end up advising them (or not; for a financial comepnsation or not). In any case, I prefer to abstain from the vote, even if the description above fails way short of ICANN's Conflict of Intreest policies. Amadeu
Amadeu, Please note that Bruce Tonkin has declared a conflict of interest and has passed his vote to a proxy without direction. This is NOT an abstention. Under the system of voting on the GNSO, abstentions end up in effect as votes against. So Amadeo, I would urge you to appoint a proxy without direction for your vote - perhaps one of your fellow nom com appointees. Philip

Hello All, I want to follow Bruces lead and declare a potential conflict of interest in regard to the .net criterias. As my company holds shares of Afilias and provides a Director to the Afilias Board I will recurse myself from this vote and give my proxy to Ross Rader or in the case that is is not on the call to Alick Wilson.
