Subject: [SOAC-Leaders-ICANNMeeting-Planning] Reminder: ICANN71 Plenary Topic Proposals due Wednesday 21 April

Dear Community Leaders and Representatives:

By now, you may have noticed that while today is Monday, we are still a couple days shy of the 21st of April. Apologies for my error in the deadline listed below.

On the bright side, you now have until Wednesday, 21 April at 7:00 UTC to submit the online Plenary Session Topic Proposal Form [icann.wufoo.com].

We look forward to receiving your proposals and facilitating the discussion later this week.

Best regards,

Tanzanica

Dear all,

Following Mary’s email below, the Plenary Session Topic Proposal Form [icann.wufoo.com] for ICANN71 Policy Forum is now open for submissions. Please submit any topic proposals to the form [icann.wufoo.com] by the deadline on Monday, 21 April at 7:00 UTC.

As always, we recommend sharing any topics you plan to submit with the list in advance to avoid overlap or duplicate proposals. All submissions will be distributed to the group following the deadline on 21 April in preparation for the production call later that week.

The initial draft block schedule and production calendar are also attached for your review. Please note that the draft block schedule reflects the times for some of our recurring sessions from ICANN68 Policy Forum such as Tech Day, the DNNSEC Workshop, the GNSO Council Meeting, and GAC Communiqué. These are included for your reference only and the times may be adjusted according to your current scheduling preferences and needs for the upcoming meeting.

Have a nice weekend everyone!

Best,

Tanzanica

Subject: [SOAC-Leaders-ICANNMeeting-Planning] Kicking off planning for ICANN71

Dear community leaders and representatives,

With the ICANN71 Policy Forum just 66 calendar days (45 working days) away, it’s time that we begin the collaborative planning process with you! Please look out for an email shortly from Tanzanica with information about submitting plenary topic proposals and a proposed block schedule for your review.  We’d also like to propose an ICANN71 production call for Thursday 22 April (exact time to be determined) so please look out for a calendar invitation from Susie Johnson for the call as well.

As you and your groups begin the ICANN71 planning process, I hope the following reminders are helpful:

Finally, if your group wishes to replace its representative(s) on this SOAC Meeting Planning Group, please let me know at your earliest convenience so that we can update the mailing list and calendar invitations accordingly. As you may know, periodic updates of the group membership is one of the proposed guidelines in the Meeting Planning Guidelines, which also cover the roles and responsibilities of this Meeting Planning Group.

Thank you!

Cheers

Mary (on behalf of ICANN org’s executive and internal meetings planning teams)
