Exactly. That is what I think, and I was a member of the CWG-Auction Proceeds. We discussed all of this at the meeting and could have stated we wanted money to go to Applications Support, but we did not. We just said that grantees could apply for grants for these purposes. This is what I was trying to say, but Avri stated it most eloquently, much better than what I was trying to say.

What it comes down to is, the worthiness of the result isn't reason enough to justify ignoring regular procedures. Or, to put it more bluntly and more traditionally, the end does not justify the means.
