It is a Communique that tells what they did at ICANN69, and reiterates a number of things that "are important to the GAC". There is no new ADVICE as there often is in a GAC Communique. I would not recommend the ALAC give "support" to what is essentially a report.

We can get Alan and Hadia to do a brief presentation at the next ALAC meeting and then put a motion to the ALAC to formalise our support for the GAC statement.

Heidi to add that to the agenda of the next meeting.

Too often in ICANN that's often enough to get something through. A concerted opposition by nearly everyone else (NCPHÂ + ALAC+GAC) means the public interest has a fighting chance.

I suggest that a small item in the next ALAC meeting include a formal endorsement of the GAC position if it's as aligned with ours as Alan says.
