It is a Communique that tells what they did at ICANN69, and reiterates a
number of things that "are important to the GAC". There is no
new ADVICE as there often is in a GAC Communique. I would not recommend
the ALAC give "support" to what is essentially a
report.

We can get Alan and Hadia to do
a brief presentation at the next ALAC meeting and then put a motion to
the ALAC to formalise our support for the GAC statement.
Heidi to add that to the agenda of the next meeting.

- Too often in ICANN that's often enough to get something through. A
concerted opposition by nearly everyone else (NCPHÂ + ALAC+GAC) means the
public interest has a fighting chance.
- I suggest that a small item in the next ALAC meeting include a formal
endorsement of the GAC position if it's as aligned with ours as Alan
says.
