Hello all,

earlier today ICANN ran a webinar for SO/AC/SG/C/RALO leaders about the latest GDPR developments.
See all details below.
ICANN President and CEO announced that ICANN would be releasing an updated Unified Access Model that would be an amendment of the last model (see: https://www.icann.org/news/blog/data-protection-privacy-update-key-gdpr-whois-updates-and-next-steps ) given the recent developments in Germany relating to the injunction proceedings ICANN initiated against EPAG, a Germany-based, ICANN-accredited registrar that is part of the Tucows Group.

This is just a heads up that you are likely to see this new model referenced on the ICANN blog at some point this week, probably Wednesday.

Kindest regards,

Olivier
