Dear CPWG Members,

The GNSO Council voted to initiate a PDP on DNS Abuse Mitigation on 12 December 2025 and adopted the charter of PDP 1 on Associated Domain Name Checks on 15 January 2026.

This notice is to issue a call to for At-Large participants for this new PDP. ALAC has been allocated two (2) Members, one (1) participant, and 1 Alternate. Observers, who are interested in these policy deliberations, will have the ability to enroll, but they will not be considered active participants of the PDP. Please review the charter for full details.

Interested At-Large members should send their Expression of Interest (EOI), and include how they might meet the membership criteria in Section IV of the charter, to At-Large staff by Friday, 30 January 2026. The deadline for the ALAC to identify their representatives is 9 February 2026.

Please note that the recently adopted ROP Adjunct Document – Metrics and Remedial Actions for Appointees, dated 16 Dec 2025 will be applied to ALAC appointees to this PDP and will provide a guide to the selection of the ALAC-selected DNS Abuse Mitigation PDP representatives.
