I read this.  It is all speculative.  We just do not know. I think these letters do more harm than good.  We just do not know the answers.  How do we know that Ethos will not run PIR the same way it was run before.  They may continue giving PIR the leeway to do exactly as they have been doing.  We just do not know

In this letter to ICANN's General Counsel, the Packet Clearing House warns that under Ethos Capital's management of PIR, "the decreased operational spending necessary for any commercial purchaser to break even would result in an increase from zero down-time to, on average, slightly more than three days without service each year."
