HI Marita,
I read this. It is all speculative. We just do not know. I
think these letters do more harm than good. We just do not know
the answers. How do we know that Ethos will not run PIR the same
way it was run before. They may continue giving PIR the leeway to
do exactly as they have been doing. We just do not know
Judith

Subject: Packet Clearing House warns .ORG websites to suffer downtime under Ethos Capital management Date: Wed, 18 Dec 2019 12:40:00 +0000 From: Ayden Férdeline <icann@FERDELINE.COM> Reply-To: Ayden Férdeline <icann@ferdeline.com> To: NCSG-DISCUSS@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU
Dear all,
In this letter to ICANN's General Counsel, the Packet Clearing House warns that under Ethos Capital's management of PIR, "the decreased operational spending necessary for any commercial purchaser to break even would result in an increase from zero down-time to, on average, slightly more than three days without service each year."
Best wishes, Ayden Férdeline
