I was really hoping to discuss and advance that ALAC proposes an education project to help people understand the differences between gTLDs and CCs.A number of people in the subsequent email thread thought it was a good idea to consider. Not good enough for the CPWG, apparently. And people wonder why I'm so cynical about this place.Evan Leibovitch, Toronto Canada@evanleibovitch / @el56_______________________________________________On Tue, May 3, 2022 at 7:54 PM Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond via CPWG <cpwg@icann.org> wrote:Hello all,_______________________________________________
the decision was made to cancel the call due to so few items on the agenda and little or no updates this week from the great majority of our working group representatives. Rather than having an empty call, we're giving you back volunteer minutes to use as you please. :-)
Kindest regards,
Olivier

***Note from Steinar to CPWG***
As informed, the GNSO TPR PDP Working Group has published the initial report for Phase 1a.
The deadline for submitting our input is 14 May 2022. After the deadline, the working group will spend the following four working group meetings reviewing the items submitted in the input document. If your groups are unable to provide input by 14 May, feedback on the Initial Report can be provided during the public comment period.
As you review, please note that some sections of the report are highlighted:
- Text highlighted in purple is relatively new and should be reviewed closely.
- Text highlighted in orange is still under discussion and may change.
- Yellow highlights are administrative in nature can be ignored.
Please add your comments to the WG initial report to our internal document [docs.google.com]. It will be of great help if any comments are referred to with the sections (line numbers) in the PDP initial report.
Regards,
Steinar Grøtterød
