Dear Councilors,
This is an update for the next Council meeting regarding:
a)the EPDP P2A final report and
b)our vote on the associated motion.
Regarding the final report, I would like to draw your attention on the updated final report, as attached, which now includes all minority statements in Annex D.
On our vote, we discussed the best approach within leadership and we would like to offer the following. Our next council will include a discussion on this EPDP Phase 2A Final Report and the associated motion for which a proposed text is attached for your review and comments; we will then vote in October.
We pondered the option/need to “fast-track” our vote. We chose instead to accommodate all necessary time for discussion at our next call, with an opportunity if necessary to use our time between September and October to clarify any remaining questions, and make sure we take a duly informed vote in October without deferral.
