Now customers having domain names registered with them want to transfer them out. Customers are able to transfer authorization code from the admin panel but net 4 India has locked the domains (client transfer prohibited) and there is no option of unlocking. Several emails to customer support gone unanswered. Several customers are facing similar issues. In theory, ICANN should transfer registrations to an emergency Registrar. https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/bankruptcy-breaches-2014-01-29-en This is done automatically. Kindest regards, Olivier On 03/10/2020 10:53, Maureen Hilyard wrote:

Dear all I had reached out to Samiran a couple of weeks back on how ICANN would be able to help out with Net4India. Here's his response: <quote> With regards to Net4India, the company is in a legal dispute with several creditors. The matter was referred for insolvency proceedings at the National Company Law Tribunal in 2019. The tribunal appointed a resolution professional who is coordinating with ICANN on matters related to compliance of ICANN’s registrar agreement, including renewals and transfers of domain names. Since you are aware of registrants facing challenges in renewal or transfer of domain names, they may transfer the same from Net4India to another registrar. To do this, the Transfer Complaint form at this link <https://forms.icann.org/en/resources/compliance/complaints/transfer/form> ( https://forms.icann.org/en/resources/compliance/complaints/transfer/form) is to be used. My contractual compliance team will reach out to the resolution professional and try to assist every registrant. </quote> With kind regards, satish On Sun, Oct 4, 2020 at 6:14 PM Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond <ocl@gih.com> wrote:

Dear Satish Babu, It is good that ICANN has taken the matter to help out the Registrants of Net4India to transfer their domains to other Registrars. However this will require cooperation from both the sides. There may be some ticklish issues of loss of money to the Registrants due to earlier renewals carried out by them with the Net4India and new Registrar May not agree for them. Regards, Govind Sent from my iPhone
