I think we have to work on this issue in our own way as I am sure the Board is doing and will let us know in due time. I think we can give advice to the Board, but I don't like to single Leon out and compromise him in his new role. We must remember that he cannot openly support At-Large over other ICANN sectors, especially as Vice Chair. At the same time, we know he is always watching our back . I fully agree that we should not make Leon's position difficult by leaning towards At-Large alone. However, this .org issue is clearly highly related to ICANN's credibility and survival. Thus, I am asking Leon to stand out on this for ICANN as a whole, which I believe is fully appropriate for his role as VC. Meanwhile, this will also give us a good reason for selecting him to be on the Board (maybe even for his next term).
