Re: [CCG] Amended IPMC Bylaws are in Effect
Dear Russ Housley: Please delete my name from the footer to your draft letter, and add my Abstention under Names: <<Abstention Christopher Wilkinson, At Large.>> Thankyou Christophder Wilkinson
All, For the record, I have no objections to the letter as written. I am glad that our disappointment with how this was handled is on the record. I hope that the next steps to be taken to complete the assignment/novation of the related agreements will be done with more careful consideration and collaboration. I also hope that the other infirmities with the Bylaws will also be dealt with (beyond the "showstoppers" that we identified and requested be rectified, and which were rectified in the process just completed). On a related note, I suggest that we should do some "housekeeping" of our own with regard to regular meetings (not often but regular) and our rules and procedures. The CCG is a necessary cog in the mechanism of ICANN accountability for IANA, and we should hand it off to our inevitable successors in good shape. Best regards, Greg On Fri, Dec 26, 2025 at 6:54 AM mail@christopherwilkinson.eu < mail@christopherwilkinson.eu> wrote:
