The working group started the discussion connected to Phase 2 Transfer Dispute Resolution Policy (TDRP). In the At-Large respond to early input to the Phase 2charter questions, At-Large proposed the WG to discuss if a Registrant can initiate a transfer dispute with reference to the TDRP. The present TDRP allow only registrars to initiate a transfer dispute using the TDRP. The discussion showed that it can be questioned if the Working Group mandat makes it possible to "add the registrant" into the TDRP. Steinar (At-Large): Is it correct that this WG doesn’t have standing to create a recommendation for a registrant-initiated dispute resolution process? Answer: There was not support for the current Transfer Dispute Policy being expand but for creating something new. The WG will continue the deliberation on this in the upcoming meetings. In addition, ICANN staff will present use cases from the IRTP-D. The IRTP Part D recommended not to develop dispute options for registrants. In addition, SOs were to find use cases.
