Hi Robin,

as stated in the letter, this is for usage of country and territory names at the second level.

The internal WG in the GAC is focused on tlds, not in the second level.

Further to the issue I was trying to raise in yesterday's call, the GAC database proposal was brought to the attention of ICANN's Board in a letter from GAC Chair on 23 April 2015 (attached).  This is the GAC database proposal that I'm trying to learn more about.   Can anyone provide information on this geographic names proposal for a database?  It certainly seems relevant to the work of this group.
