Hello:

The IANA would like very much to have clear and consistent information

about the YU domain.

The IANA is not comfortable that it has good information about the

nameservers that are to be used for this domain.

Some claims have been made that the nameservers would be the same as for

the old YU domain, but the managers of those servers have not been involved

in any agreements with the new YU to provide such service.

Other claims have been made that there will be servers at CalStateLA and

at SIN.COM. However, the managers at CalStateLA have not responded to

a request to confirm this, and there is some confusion about SIN.COM since

it appears to be a sub-part of MCS.COM, and the head of MCS does not have

any agreement to support the YU domain. It also seems odd the the IANA that

the only servers for YU would be in the US and not in Europe.

So the IANA is still looking to receive clear and supported information

that there is good and coordinated management for the YU domain before

making any changes.

Thank you.
