It took me this entire email string to realize who "Bernard" is - it is actually just Bernie. I think it is the French on this list that have confused everything.

I find Bernard Turcotte's daily summary helpful and I will give weight
to early or late comments as I wish. As for the group itself giving
equal weight to all comments, this is a given. That's how all public
comments are analysed in ICANN. Thanks Bernard!
