I think you’re interpreting my question in the wrong way. It’s not that I think aspects of the report don’t apply,
I was just asking you if you thought specific principles would help us to resolve any of the key controversies we are engaged in (e.g., external contracting vs. internal; recurring contracting vs. “nuclear option”) and if so how.
If my messages from yesterday were brief it’s because they were sent from airports on a mobile phone ;-)

I finally had a chance to review SAC069 and I believe that the CWG needs to take into consideration the SSAC recommendations
as they apply to the IANA naming functions. In addition, I recommend that the CWG consider endorsing the SSAC principles contained in SAC069 in addition to the CWG principles; there is a little overlap but I do not think that is a problem.
