First of all, You can blame me for this misunderstanding, because I was the one who suggested that regional small groups.
It was unpleasant to read that someone feels excluded, and for me, this was ultimate reason why I wanted to apologize.
I am truly sorry about this, it was misunderstanding, and it will not happen again - I support approach that significant information, especially decisions, must be on this mailing list.

Regarding that, I would like to suggest that we continue our work, and I will outline another two problems.
1. There is no response from two small groups, and we must try to contact them. This is not a problem with this small groups approach, this is a problem for the whole GP and incomplete results. Any idea?
2. For other two groups, report is in Dropbox. Please, I would like to suggest that You go over this report and suggest the corrections&improvements.
Also, it would be nice that we have the deadline for solving this two problems. Maybe 10 days will be enough?
After that, we will be ready for next step.

Again, I am sorry about misunderstanding.

In future please announce any significant information through this mailing list: there may be group members who did not participate in a particular phone call. I believe this is a standard protocol used in the majority of ICANN working groups.

During our conference-call, we decided that further work will be done within the framework of small working groups according to the specific Cyrillic scripts that are our subjects.

Because our Panel is voluntary and free for included participants - all participants are equal  - then the natural principle of organization of small working groups was chosen the principle of self-organization. 

There were 4 small groups organized - Balkans, Russia-Belarus-Ukraine, Central Asia, Mongolia. You have asked a question about the principle of work of small groups and you have been answered.

Extras were loaded a large number of materials in Dropbox (special thanks to Mirjana and Alexei and for methodological help - to Sarmad).

And finally, thank you very much Dusan, who helped prepare the report of the Panel. The report was submitted as agreed positions of small workgroups.

Therefore, if you want a more active (along with other active members of the group) to join in the work - no problem - please, write me what is the problem(s) you would like to participate and solve. I as a Chair and coordinator will always be willing to help you.

I was surprised to see in the presentation that was circulated that apparently some work is under way, specifically on the formation of small language groups and there was even some deliberation on confusingly similar characters. It would be good if the author(s) shared their work with the group as nothing was happening on the list and I am not aware of any group calls apart from the very first one last year. 


Similarly, I am not aware of any subgroups being formed or any calls to form such groups being issued here on the mailing list.


It is obviously good that there is initiative coming from some of the group members, but unless this work can be signed off by the entire group this can't be presented as the product of the Cyrillic generation panel.
