Close of Public Comments on Cyrillic LGR Proposal
Dear Cyrillic GP members, Please note that the public comments on the Cyrillic LGR proposal closed recently: see https://www.icann.org/public-comments/cyrillic-lgr-2017-10-17-en. We have received three comments - one on cross-script variants with Armenian and two on cross-script variants with Latin. Two of these comments are from the respective Generation Panels. You can see the summary report of the public comments at https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/report-comments-cyrillic-lgr-20d.... As next steps, we would request the Cyrillic GP to review these comments, update its proposal as needed, and then share the final version for evaluation by the Integration Panel. Dear Cyrillic GP members, Dusan has suggested to convene the Cyrillic GP in mid-January for an online meeting to discuss the public comments and to finalize the Cyrillic LGR proposal. Hello, Happy New Year to all of us :) I think that the proposed updates to the confusion tables for Latin should be just merged with the existing CT. I think that we can add the proposed characters for the Armenian confusion table too. I am not sure about my timetable on the upcoming week (if nothing changes, everything but Wednesday are OK) so I'll fill the Doodle when I know details. Thank you!
