Drafting Team – A charter for a Cross-Community Working Group on new gTLD Auction Proceeds

As the representatives of the GNSO who has initiated this effort, we would like to thank you for your interest and participation in this drafting team. The team has been tasked with developing the charter for a Cross-Community Working Group on new gTLD Auction Proceeds which is then expected to be presented to all the ICANN SO/ACs for their consideration.

In order to facilitate this work, we propose to schedule a first meeting of the drafting team prior to the ICANN meeting in Marrakech. ICANN Staff has also kindly reserved some time for the DT during the ICANN meeting in Marrakech, currently scheduled for Thursday 10 March from 7.30 – 9.30 local time. We can consider the DT schedule during our first meeting, including whether a face to face meeting feasible and, if so, if this time and date works for most.

In order to fully prepare for the work ahead, we would like to ask that everyone to review the attached materials prior to our first meeting:

You may want to take particular note of those comments that are referred to the DT for further consideration
