Today, 12 June 2026, marks the official expiration of the Approval Action Community Forum Period, and the initiation of the 21-day Approval Action Decision Period. This is in regard to the ongoing Approval Action for the Fundamental Bylaws Amendments pertaining to the CSC and IANA Naming Functions Review.

The Approval Action Decision Period will expire on 2 July 2026 at 23:59 PDT (3 July at 6:59 UTC). Before this Decision Period expires, each Decisional Participant has the responsibility to inform the EC Administration in writing as to whether it supports or objects to the Approval Action; or it has determined to abstain from the matter. If a Decisional Participant does not inform the EC Administration in time, it shall be deemed to have abstained.

To approve an Approval Action, and for these Fundamental Bylaws Amendments to be effective, the following is required:

• At least 3 Decisional Participants supporting the Approval Action, and
• No more than 1 Decisional Participant objecting to the Approval Action
