Dear Empowered Community Administration representatives,
As a reminder, the 21-day Rejection Action Petition Periods for the (1) IANA FY26 Operating Plan and Budget, (2) ICANN FY26 Operating Plan and Budget,
and (3) ICANN FY26-30 Operating and Financial Plan commenced on 08 May 2025 and will end at 23:59 PDT, 29 May 2025 (06:59 UTC, 30 May 2025).
Under the ICANN Bylaws, delivery of the Secretary’s Notices on 08 May requires Decisional Participants to “promptly inform their constituents” of the delivery of such notices. It also
triggers three 21-day Rejection Action Petition Periods, during which an individual may submit a petition to any Decisional Participant, seeking to reject the Board action.
You may refer to Article 2, Annex D of the ICANN Bylaws for additional details on the
Rejection Process, including all pertinent deadlines and requirements for Rejection
