Dear Empowered Community Administration,

Due to unforeseen circumstances one of our ICANN Board of Director selectees, Ms. Lousewies van der Laan, has informed the 2018 Nominating Committee that she will be unable to fulfill her duties of appointment. In light of this notification, the 2018 Nominating Committee announced today 16 September 2018 that it has now appointed Danko Jevtovic (Europe) to serve in her place. 

As per ICANN Bylaws, Article 7 Board of Directors, Section 7.8 (a)(i) it is my pleasure to inform you of the 2018 Nominating Committee selected nominee for the ICANN Director position, Seat 2.
