once again many thanks for all your support with regard to the TILTing conference. Unfortunately it seems I will not be able to represent us there this year - my colleague Eleni Kosta, who sent the initial invitation, has been unsuccessful in ensuring a speaking spot for the ICANN theme with the organizers, disallowing me to use the CROP funding you were so kind to offer. Once again thank you for all your support, I will be sure to keep my eye out for further outreach opportunities and reach out again as soon as those come up.
I totally support it as well!
Best, M.

Dear all,
I would like to support this trip to be funded from the EURALO discretionary funds.
Here's a link to the conference website: http://www.tilburguniversity.edu/research/institutes-and-research-groups/tilt/events/tilting-perspectives/
If the TF agrees, we could the propose this to the EURALO Board.
Best,
Yrjö

Subject: [euralo-tf-als-engagement] TILTing perspectives
Dear all,
this is a brief note with a kind request for your consideration.
Following a successful ICANN panel during this year’s CPDP, where we presented the challenges to multistakeholder policy making resulting from the implementation of the GDPR (https://www.cpdpconferences.org/cpdp-panels/ensuring-domain-name-data-is-safe-the-whois-experience-of-balancing-cybersecurity-and-privacy-needs-in-the-era-of-gdpr-and-major-evolution-of-privacy-legislation-around-the-world) set up together with the local ICANN GSE team, I was approached by the organizers of the TILTing conference, scheduled for May this year in Tilburg (https://www.tilburguniversity.edu/research/institutes-and-research-groups/tilt/events/tilting-perspectives/). As per their e-mail, they would love to feature an ICANN At-Large related theme in their agenda, yet since the invitation comes late, they cannot subsidize travel and accommodation. With that in mind, following their request I am reaching out the EURALO O&E WG with a kind request for considering an additional CROP funding request. The funding would cover my travel to and accommodation in Tilburg to present during the TILTing conference on ICANN multistakeholder policy making and the role of users. Please let me note that the event is relatively prestigious in the local policy and academic bubble and presenting our ICANN agenda there might benefit the overall O&E agenda. The total estimated cost of travel and accommodation should not exceed 550 EURO.
Thank you for your consideration, I’m happy to answer any questions that you might have.
Joanna Kulesza
