Thousand of excuses if I forgot to mention anyone - your participation is priceless for us!
I am also sorry for not providing our report on our Youth IGF-UA and IGF-UA 2024 in time and in a proper format.
As usually, we started on Wednesday, 27 November with Youth IGF-UA
We even took some photos.
Then
(on the night from 27 to 28 November) we received maybe the most
durable (9,5 hours) and severe (178 missiles) ruzzist attack on Ukraine.
On November 28 at 9:20 (Kyiv time) we
were not sure that we could do it. At 9:50 we received welcoming words
from Becky Burr. Thanks a lot to Becky and to Gabi and to all of you,
who supported (and are supporting) us!
During
two days of our IGF-UA we discussed cybersecurity, lack of staff for
telecommunication, telecom education, Ukrainian language in Internet,
digital human rights in time of war, European and international
initiatives on Internet governance, risks and possibilities for Ukraine
of the new gTLD round, Telecom and small business resilience in Ukraine in time of war.
Some of the sessions were organized in English. For other sessions (in Ukrainian) it was provided AI captioning in English.
We will highly appreciate all your comments, advice and propositions for our IGF-UA-2025!
Kind regards,
Oksana
