Dear colleagues,
on yesterday's EURALO call, we discussed the 2018 EURALO Regional Selections, as listed on
https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/2018+EURALO+Regional+Selections
It was recognised that Bastiaan Goslings is the only candidate for the position of ALAC member as selected by our RALO. As a result, it was agreed that it makes little sense in conducting a vote with only one candidate, especially since the candidate is already
in position and we favour making decisions by consensus. Accordingly, we agreed to have a consensus call for Bastiaan to be selected by acclamation.
As a result, this is formal notice of a 72 hour (3 days) consensus call to select Bastiaan Goslings by acclamation for the position of ALAC Member (as selected by the RALO).
If anyone disagrees with this process, could they please notify me or
staff@atlarge.icann.org until 15:00 UTC on Saturday 19 May 2018.
