Hello all,

just a reminder that the deadline for filing RALO requests is 16 January 2017.
To-date we have received no requests at all.
I plan to file two requests:
- funding for participants at ICANN Studienkreis (a repeat of last year's request)
- funding for the organisation of a workshop on the Public Interest at the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) which will be in Geneva this year.

If you have a request, please propose them as soon as possible so the RALO can review it. Instructions are given below.

Kindest regards,

Olivier

Dear All,

The FY18 Additional Budget Request process has started.  This process pertains to a dedicated part of the overall ICANN annual budget that is set aside to fund specific requests from the community for activities that are not already included in the recurring ICANN budget. FY18 Additional Budget Requests cover the period 1 July 2017 through 30 June 2018.

The relevant information is available on the At-Large FY18 Budget Development Workspace[community.icann.org], including the key deadlines, details of the process, principles and the request template.

IMPORTANT: In 2016, the members of the ALAC Finance and Budget Sub-Committee (FBSC) agreed to the following criteria for At-Large proposals:

IMPORTANT:  Between now and 16 January 2017 the RALOs are asked to review any ALS request or complete a template on behalf of the RALO and send requests to At-Large Staff.
