On behalf of the EURALO Chair, Sébastien Bachollet and Secretariat, Natalia Filina, and in accordance with EURALO’s NEW
ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION, this
is a revised announcement – with a date change - for the EURALO Hybrid General Assembly 2023 to now be held on Wednesday 25 October 2023 between 14:00-15:30 UTC (16:00-17:30 CEST), during the ICANN78
Meeting in Hamburg.
The draft Agenda has been posted on the EURALO Hybrid General Assembly 2023 wiki
page. Please be so kind as to review the draft agenda and be prepared
to participate!

the EURALO Articles of Association – see hereafter).

Assembly in person or remotely:

included below in this email. Please
note there is *no* travel funding to attend this meeting in Hamburg.
Send an apology, in
which case you may nominate
a PROXY (document attached) to represent you. A proxy will need to confirm
participation in the General Assembly.
Please note that in order to achieve quorum at the General Assembly, it is important for you to take
action on one of the two options above!
In order to nominate a proxy, please send
your proxy document by email with
the subject line PROXY EURALO Hybrid GA
2023 to
EURALO’s Chair at sebicann@bachollet.fr, Secretariat
at filinafilka@gmail.com and At-Large staff at staff@atlarge.icann.org, appointing
the proxy.
Kindly note that according to the new EURALO Articles of Association, Proxies may only validly be appointed by a notice in writing (a “proxy notice”) which:

states the name and address of the Member appointing the proxy;
-
identifies the person appointed to be that Member’s proxy and the General Assembly in relation to which that person is appointed;
-
is signed by or on behalf of the Member appointing the proxy, or is authenticated in such manner as the Board may determine; and is delivered to the General Assembly
in accordance with the articles and any instructions contained in the notice of the General Assembly to which they relate.
As per practice in past General Assemblies, there will be a maximum of two proxies possible per member participating
in the GA and
staff will inform you if a nominated proxy has exceeded their vote allocation and suggest alternatives.
At-Large staff amend the calendar invitations to reflect the NEW date and time and update it with Remote Participation information
24h prior to the session.
