I think some of you might be interested in the new BRICS Digital Policies Webinar we are launching today at 10:00 Rio time (GMT-3)*
Members of the CyberBRICS team will discuss the latest digital policy developments in the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) including the entry in force of the new data protection law (LGPD) and the proposal for a “Fake News” bill in Brazil, the Russian Digital Society programme aiming at large scale introduction of AI in Russia, Personal Data and Non-Personal Data policy elaboration in India, new Global Initiative for Data Security and Digital Yuan project in China, and the implementation of Data Protection framework (POPIA) and spectrum auction in South Africa.
