We’re thrilled to invite you to the upcoming residential course on Cybersecurity and International Law, taking place in Brussels from February 10–12, 2025. This hands-on course orgranized by Lodz Cyber Hub, an EURALO ALS and the
European Security and Defence College (ESDC)
is open to participants from EU Member States, candidate countries, third countries, and international organizations who work at the intersection of international law and Internet governance. With only 25 slots available, we encourage early applications from all interested community members!
Course Highlights: This course provides a practical look into international legal challenges in cyberspace, featuring a dedicated session on Internet governance with the ICANN Governmental Engagement Team.
Key topics include:
- State responsibility, cybersecurity due diligence, and peaceful settlement of cyber disputes
- GDPR compliance, transnational data flows, intermediary liability, and platform regulation
- Human rights implications in quantum computing, AI and algorithmic design
