Dear At-Large Staff,

after a call for candidates was sent to the EURALO mailing list, we received a number of responses from colleagues who showed interest. The EURALO Board examined the expressions of interest and have chosen a newcomer, Nenad Marinkovic, to sit on this selection committee. Nenad was one of our CROPP travellers at this year's EuroDIG and engaged in a lot of sessions.

Please note the following correction:

“For background, this Selection committee, composed of the ALAC Leadership Team (ALT) and five members selected by the RALOs and Chaired by Alan will receive and review Expressions of Interest for various ALAC appointments until the ends of the Hyderabad meeting. In addition to the immediate selection of CSC candidates, it is expected that during this time, we will have one or more A0C-type Review Committees and ALAC Liaison(s) which will require candidate searches.”

Subject: REVISED Call for Candidates: RALO Representatives in the ALAC Appointee Selection Committee

Dear All,

 

On behalf of Alan Greenberg, Chair of the ALAC, the call for candidates for the RALO representatives in the ALAC Appointee Selection Committee is now open.

 

Each RALO must select one (1) representative to the ALAC Appointee Selection Committee. The RALO representatives must not be the ALAC Leadership Team members (Alan Greenberg, Tijani Ben Jemaa, Leon Sanchez, Holly Raiche, and Sandra hoferichter). The names of the representatives must be sent to staff@atlarge.icann.org no later than 23:59 UTC on 14 July 2016.

 

Those appointed to the Selection Committee must be prepared to review the Expression of Interest for the ALAC Liaison to the Customer Standing Committee (CSC) position between 15 July and 18 July and attend a 2-hour teleconference on 18 July to discuss the ALAC Liaison candidates.
