ICANN is using Zoom for their online meetings.
They have no plans to move to another solution and to be honest I totally agree with their position.
Every single bit of software out there has issues of some kind. Most of the really big issues with Zoom have been addressed and many of the other ones are down to settings an account
or meeting.
If you want to use ICANN’s meeting facilities or join online events you have to use the solution they are using. You cannot expect them to keep switching from one solution to another
constantly.

ICANN's IT staff are confident in using Zoom. We have implemented passwords for all meetings, and addressed the concerns you'll see in the FBI review of Zoom's privacy and security
issues. A lot of these concerns could be addressed through Zoom settings, ICANN staff we aware of these and had already changed the defaults for our meetings. We are also working direct with Zoom and feel confident they are doing a good job. And long may
this continue!
Keep a look out for updates for the applications you use and keep things updated.
