How does this language (which clearly suggests some kind of binding
effect) mix with this statement of yours to the na-discuss list,
made last Friday?
I do not see any conflict. Both sides agree to do several things, and they agree to some benefits. It is an agreement. The fact that it is not intended as a contract for enforcement in courts does not change that both sides are making an agreement with one another.
