Dear All,

On behalf of Wolf Ludwig, Chair of EURALO, as announced on the EURALO monthly call on Tuesday, 26 May, the EURALO selection for the available positons of ALAC Member and ALAC Delegate to the NomCom from Europe will be re-started.

Positions Open:

Please refer to the EURALO Elections, Selections and Appointments 2015 wiki page for the list of available positions and whether current holders of the positions are eligible for re-selection.

Terms:

·         ALAC: Terms for the ALAC will run from the end of the 2015 AGM to the end of the 2017 AGM.

·         ALAC Delegate to the NomCom: Voting members of the NomCom are appointed for a one year term, starting at the close of the 2015 AGM and ending at the close of the 2016 AGM and may be re-appointed for a further term of one year subject to the requirement under the ICANN Bylaws.

EURALO Re-Started Selection Schedule for ALAC Members and ALAC Delegates to the NomCom:

• 27 May - Announcement of call for nominations and Nominee's Statement.
• 27 May - 10 June - Nomination period.
• 15 June - Deadline for nomination acceptances.
• 16 June - 22 June 2015 - Elections (If required, elections will begin no later than one week after the deadline for nomination acceptances and end no later than two weeks after that deadline).
•  2015 AGM [ ICANN 54 ]  - The newly selected ALAC representative shall be seated on the ALAC at the close of the 2015 AGM on Thursday, 22nd October 2015. The newly selected NomCom Delegate will begin their term at the end of the AGM on Thursday, 22 October 2015.

Process for Nominations:

All nominees are expected to submit a brief statement explaining why they believe they are a suitable candidate to At-Large staff.  All nominees must also complete or update their Statement of Interest (see: At-Large New SOIs Workspace).

Nominations, including self-nominations, may be made directly on the EURALO Elections, Selections and Appointments 2015 wiki page or by sending a note to At-Large staff.
