Dear EURALO Members,

 

On behalf of the EURALO Chair, Sébastien Bachollet and Secretariat, Natalia Filina, and in accordance with EURALO’s NEW ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION, this is the first announcement of the EURALO Virtual General Assembly 2020 to be held on Tuesday 15 December 2020 between 18:00-20:00 UTC.

 

The Agenda has been posted on the EURALO Virtual General Assembly 2020 wiki page. Please be so kind as to review the agenda and be prepared to participate!

Please complete the Google form [docs.google.com] to confirm your attendance or send an apology.

 

NOTE 1 – IF an apology and appointing a Proxy, please note Proxy on the Google form AND complete the attached proxy form (as per the EURALO Articles of Association – see hereafter).

 

NOTE 2 – EURALO Individuals Association represents the EURALO Individuals. We would however like to know which individuals will participate during the GA.

 

 

At this stage you have TWO options:

 

  1. Participate in the General Assembly remotely: instructions for attending are included below in this email. Zoom registration required.

Send an apology, in which case you may nominate a PROXY

 

  1. (document attached) to represent you. A proxy will need to confirm participation in the General Assembly.


Please note that in order to achieve quorum at the General Assembly, it is important for you to take action on one of the two options above!

 

In order to nominate a proxy, please send your proxy document by email with the subject line PROXY EURALO Virtual GA 2020 to EURALO’s Chair at sebastien@bachollet.com,  Secretariat at filinafilka@gmail.com and At-Large staff at staff@atlarge.icann.org, appointing the proxy.

 

Kindly note that according to the new EURALO Articles of Association, Proxies may only validly be appointed by a notice in writing (a “proxy notice”) which:

 

  1. states the name and address of the Member appointing the proxy;
  2. identifies the person appointed to be that Member’s proxy and the General Assembly in relation to which that person is appointed;
  3. is signed by or on behalf of the Member appointing the proxy, or is authenticated in such manner as the Board may determine; and is delivered to the General Assembly in accordance with the articles and any instructions contained in the notice of the General Assembly to which they relate.

 

As per practice in past General Assemblies, there will be a maximum of two proxies possible per member participating in the GA and staff will inform you if a nominated proxy has exceeded their vote allocation and suggest alternatives.

 

At-Large staff will follow up with calendar invitations with Remote Participation information (included below).
