ICANN NomCom June Update The ICANN NomCom delegates and leadership team met at ICANN 65 in Marrakesh, Morocco to interview, further evaluate and select candidates from the 2nd intercessional short-list. This is a continuation of the candidate selection phase in the NomCom process. Selections for the most qualified candidates was completed for these 10 open seats: 3 seats for the ICANN board, 1 seat for the PTI board, 3 seats for each of these ALAC regions: Africa, LAC and Asia, 1 seat for ccNSO and 2 seats for the GNSO. New selectees will officially assume their roles in Montreal at ICANN 66 Annual General Meeting (AGM) but announcements should come out in late August or early September.
