Dear all again, as you may have seen on our Belgrade GA agenda (points 9 to 13) sent to you yesterday, we will have re-elections for the EURALO officers (Chair and Secretariat), Board members and our ALAC representative (incumbent Olivier Crepin-Leblond who took over from Patrick Vande Walle at the end of last year). Please note that the Bylaw modification for the term prolongations was accepted. Besides the "old" hands nominated already, I think we also need new members and "fresh blood" in the Board. Therefore I would like to add Manuel Schneider, representing Wikimedia-CH at EURALO. Good evening: i suggest that it is premature for the existing establishment to appear to wrap this question up already. I think we need to encourage some newcomers. But this will require: (a) more time, and (b) an open process where newcomers do not feel that they are being asked to stand against a done deal . . . Hi Christopher, I share your concern and thought in principle and would be pleased to have more options in this direction - new and plenty of younger people to step in and to take over ... That's the reason why I suggested Manuel (see below) and Sébastien and Annette nominated Oksana. Actually, we need both experience and new ideas, thoughts, approaches and all the like. Unfortunately, we do not have more choice and time at the moment - or do you suggest to postpone the GA? Come up with concrete proposals that can be discussed.
