Presentations and discussions were on topics such as access and diversity, security and privacy in the Internet age and critical Internet resources. As a sponsor and participant in the event, ICANN's Africa GSE team gave an update on the IANA functions transition and the process to enhance ICANN's accountability to the community. A key session addressed how to improve the structure of the bodies that coordinate the West Africa IGFs.
