Fwd: NetMundial Initiative Coordination Council.
Dear EURALO members, please be so kind to find Jean-Jacques Subrenat's email below asking for EURALO's support in the renewal of his volunteer service in the NetMundial Initiative Coordination Council (NMI/CC). If anyone has any objections to EURALO supporting Jean-Jacques's candidacy, could they please email me and Wolf Ludwig (Secretariat) in private. Many thanks, Olivier -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: NetMundial Initiative Coordination Council. Date: Sat, 23 Jan 2016 11:11:11 +0100 (CET) From: Subrenat, Jean-Jacques <jjs@dyalog.net> To: Olivier MJ Crepin-Leblond <ocl@gih.com> Dear Olivier, in December 2014, EURALO supported my candidacy for the NetMundial Initiative Coordination Council (NMI/CC), and I became one of its "civil society" members. At its face-to-face meeting in Sao Paulo in June 2015, the NMI/CC decided to change its name to "Inaugural Coordination Council", its current members remaining in place till June 2016. NMI is now calling for nominations or self-nominations for a 2-year period starting in June 2016. Current members may self-nominate or be nominated. This is to ask if EURALO would accept to support my continued volunteer service in the NMI/CC, for a new 2-year term. As you may be aware, I have played an active part in NMI/CC since its inception, whether on the Council list or in its Working Groups (Terms of Reference, Governance and Operations, Project Support and Engagement). As the Chair of the At-Large Working Group on Transition, you know that I have always made myself available to ALAC, the At-Large community and EURALO, regularly reporting on the ICG's work. If supported by EURALO, I would in the same manner report regularly to its Board on developments in the NMI/CC. If you need any further information, please let me know. Best regards, Jean-Jacques http://icannwiki.com/Jean-Jacques_Subrenat
