Hi all - just to give this a bit of context: You probably know I was rewarded this position earlier, i.e. to be the ALAC Delegate to the NomCom from the European Region. I unfortunately had to step down because I recently accepted a job at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate as a senior policy advisor within the Directorate Digital Economy (cluster Cybersecurity and Continuity). Starting the 1st of December. This a.o. means that the Dutch GAC will be a direct colleague of mine, and after talking to him we decided not to combine the roles and therefor EURALO needs to find a new delegate to the NomCom. While noone planned for this situation I am positive we have very capable people in our community and that we’ll find a replacement soon - getting up to speed should not be an issue btw, the actual work for NomCom newcomers has not started yet. I unfortunately had to step down because I recently accepted a job at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate as a senior policy advisor within the Directorate Digital Economy (cluster Cybersecurity and Continuity). Starting the 1st of December. This a.o. means that the Dutch GAC will be a direct colleague of mine, and after talking to him we decided not to combine the roles and therefor EURALO needs to find a new delegate to the NomCom. While noone planned for this situation I am positive we have very capable people in our community and that we’ll find a replacement soon - getting up to speed should not be an issue btw, the actual work for NomCom newcomers has not started yet.
