may I underline that we all are IGF participants. Desai and Kummer are sort of an SO. By nature, the IGF is heterarchic as is the Information Society and cannot be represented. This makes ALAC an interestingly structured IGF participant particularly apt to represent the ICANN community within the IGF debate. The vote on the Euro-IGF could be a good opportunity to experiment a kind of special relations at regional level (cnforming with the Tunis agenda) and to put the ALAC in its proper place (relations with the external world).
