Tijani Ben Jemaa, Chair of the Board Member Selection Process Committee (BMSPC) 2014, has asked that the first round of vote for the selection of the Board Director selected by At-Large (Seat #15) be held to reduce the number of Candidates from five (5) to three (3) only.

* Once open, electorates will receive Vote Credentials that contain links to BigPulse, the online platform to cast your vote. * Staff will send reminders, as well as call electorates who haven?t voted before the poll closes.

* VOTE ROUND 1 will be a Preferential Instant Run-off: The three (3) candidates with the lowest scores (i.e. most preferred) are selected for VOTE ROUND 2.

* If two candidates are distinctly placed 4th and 5th with the two highest scores (i.e. least preferred), VOTE ROUND 1 will be completed.

* VOTE ROUND 1 will continue if a tie occurs. A tie means: a) 2 or more candidates have the same score for the 3rd place; b) 3 or more candidates have the same score for the 2nd place; c) 4 or more candidates have the same score for the 1st place; or

d) The 5 candidates have the exact same score (which is very unlikely).

In any of the above 4 cases, a TIE-BREAKING VOTE will be held for the tied candidates only.

* The poll for the TIE-BREAKING VOTE will be open from 18-March-2014 03:00 UTC to 21-March-2014 23:59 UTC. Once open, electorates will receive Vote Credentials. * TIE-BREAKING VOTE will also be a Preferential Instant Run-off. * If the tie is broken, VOTE ROUND 1 will be completed. * If a tie still exists, a in-person draw will take place in Singapore to break the tie on 23-March-2014 01:15-01:45 UTC (09:15-09:45 SGT).
